  • Oreo

DescriptioOreo is a 2 year old spayed Collie mix who was rescued from treacherous conditions in the Middle East through our War-Torn Pups and Cats program. She came to America in a mission that saved her life, but sadly due to a series of tragic events, Oreo's owner needed to surrender her to Paws of War so that we can find her a new home.

She is a sweet girl who requires a gentle introduction to new people but once she knows you she loves affection. She's very food and toy motivated and loves playing fetch. Oreo's ideal home is with someone who can give her the time she needs, and with older children if there are any in the family. Oreo is open for foster and adoption applications from Veterans, First Responders, and members of the public.n goes here

  • Sebastian

Sebastian is a true gentleman and a real love bug who is playful and gets along with all people and children. He has recently immigrated from Australia and the joke is he barks with an Aussie accent! He is happiest when out for a walk or snuggling on the sofa and at 4 years old he grew up around 5 young kids; he has lovely manners and enjoys playing games of ball in the yard. He wants nothing more than to say hello to everyone with a charming smile and big brown eyes begging for a tummy rub.

Sebastian lived with 2 other dogs but recently wasn't getting along with the other male dog so the family sadly had no choice but to rehome him. When out walking he doesn’t pull or bark at passing dogs but he is looking for a home where he will be the only dog to ensure his new placement will be a success.

  • Yogi

Sweet Yogi is a mixed breed dog who was rescued through our War-Torn Pups and Cats program and had a very rough start in life until he was saved and adopted. Sadly, due to ill health his owner needed to surrender Yogi and he is now available for foster and adoption applications.

Yogi needs an experienced home where he will be the only dog and someone who is able to give him the time he needs. He is one of our dogs who is open to applications from everyone.

  • Leya

DescriptionPrecious Leya is a full-bred Corgi approximately 6 years old. She was rescued by our team from a puppy mill where she was bred for profit and never knew love, yet despite this she is so gentle and sweet. Leya will do best in a calm and peaceful home where she can be surrounded by the love and comfort she deserves.

She interacts well with other dogs inside the home and outside when she goes for walks - her favorite activity and being outside is helping her make good progress with her house-training skills which no one took the time to teach her until now. Couches and snuggling are new past times to her also, but she's enjoying both!  goes here

  • Sala

Description goeSala is just under a year old and is fully grown at  around 60lbs. She was rescued from a warzone after being protected by a hero deployed overseas. His ongoing commitment to our military meant he couldn't offer her a home himself but it is his wish she find a safe loving home in America.

She has been with a foster for the past several months. She is beautiful, smart, housebroken and crate trained. She is well behaved and has learned the sit, stay, down commands and even knows not to jump up on people. She sits for affection and to get her favorite…. chest and neck scratches! She does fine with other dogs and has experience with children 5+ years old.

Sala is shy at first but warms up given a short time to acclimate. She alerts to “danger” like the Amazon delivery guy and is a good watchdog! All the work’s been done! She’s ready for her forever home!s here
